Our crosses are clean, polished, carefully lit. Decorated and decorative. We sing songs about being washed in the blood, as if Jesus was some kind of lawn sprinkler. Without getting into graphic details, this week's message examines the crucifixion of Jesus.
Justice, Done. When an innocent man has just been sacrificed to free a murderer. A man who argued that peace was the only valid response to violence has been traded for a man who thought of violence as a way to peace. The blood of the Son of God will pay for the freedom of a man who had no hope of pardon.
This week's message from TSA-Eureka is about putting hope on trial.
I can't believe you just did that to Jesus! What a betrayal! Me too, I'm afraid. Stabbed him right in the heart. What are we going to do? What? Blame Judas? Hmm... Okay. What he did was horrible. If we push him out front, maybe no one will notice what we did...
From Luke 22, don't miss this week's message from TSA-Eureka.
Easily offended? Then today's lesson may offend you further! Why? Because, Jesus!
In a world trying to trap you, trip you, and trick you, you've got to seek triumph in the only place it is available. Where? Join dozens of others when you listen to this week's message from TSA-Eureka!
Do you think Jesus had authority to do the things he did? Not everyone agreed. When you examine the choices you have made in your life, do they reflect a belief in the authority of Jesus or a rejection of it?
WARNING: Thinking may occur if you spend time listening to this message!
I have the heart of a servant. I keep it in a jar beside my bed. But that has nothing to do with the message Major Katheleen Johnson presented this week!
We are thankful Major Johnson could grace us with the Word. Lt. Roger is scheduled to return Sunday, March 5 (God willing).
The long-awaited Messiah finally reaches the city of Jerusalem! Is the the moment we've all been waiting for, or is Jesus doing something else entirely? Is there something deeper going on in the message of the Triumphal Entry?
Sorry to be a little behind getting this one up - I know a lot of you have been waiting!
Everyone who hears the truth behind the message Jesus gave to Zac the tax guy is astounded. Seriously, how did so many people get this one wrong for so long? How willfully blind we can be when we don't want to hear what Jesus is telling us!
By the way, I've started to make some changes to my preaching style. Why not join together with my spiritual guides and let me know on Facebook or the Podbean site what you think?
Jesus wasn't kidding when he said that it would be easier for a camel to get through the eye of a needle than for a rich person to enter Heaven. But he made a loophole, for those who wouldn't have otherwise been able to get through...
